Join us at the Library for a geology adventure! Dig into rocks, fossils, earthquakes, and volcanoes through hands-on activities and rockin’ specimens, discovering the dynamic forces that have shaped Oregon’s landscape over time.
Oregon Rocks! is designed for families with elementary-age children and is presented by a museum educator. It begins with an interactive presentation for approximately 20 minutes, followed by time at activity tables featuring fun, hands-on activities and touchable specimens.
Brought to you by Friends of Myrtle Creek Library and the Oregon Museum of Natural and Cultural History.
