Learn to preserve your garden bounty with 3 classes:
3-4pm Blackberry Freezer Jam
(4-5pm intermission)
5-6pm Fermentation Fun
6-8pm Salsa Spaghetti Sauce
Take home a full jar and recipe from each class along with the knowledge you need to preserve all your summer harvest!
Materials donation $10 per person, maximum of 20 participants. Sign up at the library or Redbarn Garden Supply. To donate jars or food, contact Serena at 541.680.1700.
NOTE: This class is at the Community Center on 2nd Ave.
We at Friends of Myrtle Creek Library are promoting this wonderful teen activity program for Douglas County youth, ages 14 to 18. There are a dozen fun field trips planned, including the Hellgate Jet Boats! Trips are filling up quickly, so register soon!

Parking available at 235 NE Rice Street, as our parking lot will have the carnival events.
You or your team of up to 4 will have 90 minutes to design and build a bridge. It must span at least 8 inches. Scored categories include:
Longest open span
Most weight supported
Creativity and visual appeal
Use our huge Lego collection to get creative, build masterpieces and meet fellow enthusiasts!
Lego Builders Club meets every Saturday 12-3pm. All ages welcome.
For our next Seed Library event, come learn how to make your own medicinal teas and create your own herbal sugars and sea salts. Please bring containers for your creations.
An OSU plant biologist will also speak about pest management.
