The Friends of Myrtle Creek Library is starting a Zine Collective!
A zine (pronounced “zeen”) can be as simple as a single folded sheet of paper with drawings and/or text in each panel, or as complicated as a full-size booklet. You can use anything as a topic; poetry you’ve written, a series of collages, a guide on how to make a family recipe–the options are endless.
All zine creators are invited to display their creations at the Myrtle Creek Library, where we will make them available for everyone to look at and appreciate. This is a wonderful chance to express yourself, as well as share your creative talents and interests with the community. There is no deadline, so feel free to bring more of your work in the future!
To submit, bring your zine(s) to the library and ask for help at the circulation desk.
Below are a few inspiration examples from the web, but feel free to make your zines any way you like!
